How to Decorate an Art Ledge for Christmas
Earlier this year we made a DIY art ledge to hang above the couch in the family room. You can read about how to make an art ledge here. As soon as we hung it up and styled it, I knew it would be so fun to change out for Christmas! Now that it’s time to start decorating for the holidays, putting some Christmas art on the art ledge was one of the first things I did. I love how it looks and that I could change the art on my wall so easily and without making holes! Here’s how to decorate an art ledge for Christmas.

The Art Ledge Before Christmas
This is what was on the art ledge before I changed it for Christmas.
How I Decorated My Art Ledge for Christmas
I kept some pieces on the ledge that weren’t necessarily Christmas pieces but still worked well together with the Christmas art that I had to work with.
Here’s what I added: “Flocks by Night” by Lindsay Letters, “O Holy Night,” an old Hobby Lobby piece, and two Studio Mcgee pieces, this oval tree art and a framed deer art.
I love how it turned out, and I think it could go into winter as well. The subtle Christmas touches each piece adds created exactly the look I was going for. And now I am looking forward to how I can change it up for the next time!
