I have rouded up some gift ideas for all the special moms in our lives! This Mother’s Day Gift Guide is designed to help you find something special all in one place. If you are a mom, maybe some of these can be passed along as hints for yourself, too 😉 The prices range from around $10 to some over $100 and everything in between.

Swipe for 4 different ways to create Christmas arrangements using a compote bowl🌲

For the first two I used a mini Christmas wreath as the greenery. Just fill the bowl with newspaper and stack the wreath (or 2) on top! Then fill with bells or pinecones.

The third is using the bowl as a pretty base for a little Christmas tree! Add a brass bow on top🎀

The fourth look is adding greenery branches to a styrofoam base then adding these DIY star picks⭐️ (Find the instructions on a previous reel or comment POST for the blog post all about it)

✨DIY Star Picks✨

I really have a thing for using gold stars when decorating for Christmas, and I wanted to add some to
an arrangement of Christmas greenery and branches. So I made these star picks using metal stars from Amazon, bamboo skewers and mounting putty.

After painting the skewers with gold craft paint and letting them dry, I used mounting putty to stick the stars together onto them. They then can be stuck into a styrofoam base. They’re such a cute addition to this Christmas arrangement!

A little Christmas kitchen corner🌲

Something about adding a few Christmas touches to the kitchen makes it so cozy!

The hook rail above the stove is the perfect spot for a Christmas cutting board and mini wreath. I placed a plant on a snowflake trivet in the corner, and next to it….an early Christmas present for me😁, this beautiful gingerbread house cookie jar. Pretty sure it just makes this whole corner! Then my favorite star garland and greenery to decorate the window✨

I love my hook rail above the stove so much, I had to share how we hung it…without making holes in the tile!

How to hang a hook rail with Command Strips:
(save for later)

Make sure you get the one that says can hold up to 15 pounds!

We followed the instructions on the box, covering the brackets with them and cutting off the little bit of excess around the edges.

Once hung following the instructions on the box, you do have to wait an hour before hanging items.

In the end, it feels very secure and can even hold a few cutting boards as you can see!

I feel like brass touches keep showing up throughout my Christmas decor without even thinking about it! It’s timeless and beautiful, so it seems to just make sense✨

This brass bow and compote bowl really changed the look of this little Christmas tree. It just needed a little something, and now it adds so much to this entryway table!
