How to Make Christmas Centerpieces Using a Large Tray in 3 Ways (Part 2)
Especially when hosting a Christmas party, a centerpiece on the table is a focal point and adds so much to a space. I have a large tray that fills a long table so nicely, but how to style it for Christmas? Last year I had a post showing 3 different Christmas centerpiece ideas using a large tray (you can check it out here), and in this post I have 3 more! Here’s how to make Christmas centerpieces using a large tray in 3 ways (part 2).

You can buy the large tray that I used here.
1. Paper Trees and Lots of Mini Bells
These paper trees have been so popular this year for the Christmas season, and I’m completely on board! They have such a cool vintage look, and I think they look great grouped together on a tray. To fill in the gaps and add a little whimsy, I added mini gold bells as filler.
The trees I used are from Hobby Lobby. I had some bells on hand, you can find them at craft stores like Michaels. The rest of the bells I ordered from Amazon here.

2. Brass Candleholder Collection
If you are into thrifting, you may have a collection of brass candleholders already! I had a few older ones that I had gathered plus a few new ones that mixed together perfectly. I love the different heights and styles together. Once they filled the tray, I just added a few pieces of greenery.
3. Mini Wreaths, Gold Stars and Candles
Using mini wreaths on a tray (or bowl, too) is an easy way to add greenery to an arrangement. These 3 fit perfectly on this tray.
These metal stars are so cute and versatile for Christmas decor! I used them to make star picks to go in a Christmas arrangement this season, too. You can read about that here. I decided to sprinkle some on these wreaths in the tray and love how it turned out. Add candles and you’re all set.
