How to Make a Christmas Arrangement Using a Compote Bowl in 4 Ways
I have this brass compote bowl that I love, and I used it to create some Christmas arrangement ideas! It is such a pretty and versatile piece with endless possibilities. It can be used as a centerpiece on the table, but it also could work on a shelf, console table or coffee table. A simple plant looks great in one, but for Christmas a little tree is perfect in it! Here’s how to make a Christmas arrangement in a compote bowl in 4 ways.

Here is a selection of compote bowls to choose from: (This is the one I used.)
1. Gold Star Arrangement
To create this look, first let’s make these star picks using bamboo skewer sticks and gold metal stars.
Paint the sticks with gold paint. I used a little paint brush, but a foam brush would’ve worked even better!
Once dry, attach the stick to the star like pictured using some fun tac. Press it down firmly.
Next add your Christmas greenery and stems. Most if not all of these were from Hobby Lobby. Find some similar options here:

2. Bells and Wreath Arrangement
The greenery in this arrangement is actually a mini wreath! It fits perfectly on top, and you could even stack a couple on top of each other for a fuller look.
3. Pinecones and Wreath Arrangement
Replace the bells with pinecones for another option! I love the natural elements.
4. Christmas Tree Arrangement
This little tree is only $5 right now on sale! Putting it in the compote bowl with some Spanish moss really elevated the look of it. I topped it off with a brass bow, and I love how it came together.
